About the role
URSA Athletics is looking for a skilled Tennis Coach to join our team in Houston. You will lead group clinics and private lessons for junior and adult players, helping them improve technique, build confidence, and reach their competitive goals. Responsibilities: - Deliver group clinics and private lessons for juniors and adults - Create practice plans tailored to individual player needs and skill levels - Focus on stroke technique, footwork, point construction, and match play - Communicate regularly with players and parents about progress - Help organize in-house events, round robins, and social tennis mixers - Maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere on court
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of tennis coaching experience
- USPTA or PTR certification preferred
- Experience with both junior development and adult programs
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Reliable transportation in the Houston area
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
