What Data We Collect
Opinna, operated by Be Pro Tennis INC, collects the following personal information when you create an account or use our platform: full name, email address, location, CV/resume files you upload when applying to jobs, profile and business photos, and any additional professional information you voluntarily provide in your profile or applications.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to connect job-seeking candidates with employers in the tennis industry. This includes displaying your profile information to potential employers when you apply for jobs, facilitating communication between parties, and improving the platform experience. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the Opinna platform.
Data Storage
All data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
Service Providers
We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to run Opinna: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless performance monitoring), and, only if you consent to analytics, PostHog (product analytics, with data stored in the United States) to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These providers process data only to provide their services to us, under their own security and privacy obligations. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion of your account and all associated data
- export your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@opinna.com. You may request to deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@opinna.com. Upon receiving your request, we will deactivate your profile within 48 hours. For permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (including profile information, job applications, messages, and uploaded documents), requests are processed within 30 days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
Data Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is hidden immediately and permanently erased after a 30-day grace period, during which you can restore it. After erasure you can register again with the same email.
When an account is deleted, we keep a small record of the deletion, your name, handle, email address, and the reason you gave, so we can understand why people leave and prevent abuse. We may also keep limited records for a reasonable period where the law requires it or where we need them to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.
Children's Privacy
Opinna is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it.
Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to not be treated differently for exercising these rights. We honor these requests for all users, wherever you are. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us at support@opinna.com.
